Messrs M’Aleckan, Blaokwood, and Co.’s steamer Alhambra arrived in Port Chalmers at 8.30 a.m. to-day, and was moored alongside the pier. She has brought very few passengers and little or no cargo, which is a very rare occurrence for these boats. She left Hobson Bay on Monday, 26th May, and arrived at Hokitika on the 31st, having experienced very line weather across. Left Hokitika on tic Ist June, and arrived at Nelson on the 2nd ; left on the morning of the 4th, and arrived in Wellington the same night; left there the following day, and arrived in Lyttelton on the 6th ; left there at 1 p.m., and arrived at Port Chalmers as above.
