THE "DAILY TIMES" AND POOLE'S CATHARTIC HAIR WASH.
To the Editor.
Sir, —Extraordinary as was the local in yesterday’s Times about this hair wash, yet more extraordinary must its effect have been on the person testifying to its efficacy. If we accept the ordinary meaning of the word “Cathartic,” the ' natural inquiries which follow are : rioes the gentleman carry his intestines in his head ? aud what was the effect of the dose ?—Yours, &c., Anxious Inquirer. Dunedin, May 27.
