The barque Duke of Edinburgh, with a cargo of coals from Newcastle, arrived off the Heads early this morning. She will probably be towed up as soon as the Naomi is brought in, which the Geelong was towing in as our despatches left the port. The Wanganui left for the North at 4 o clock this morning. , „ . , . _ t The Wallabi, from the Bluff, arrived m Port Chalmers at 6.30 a.m. to-day, and steamed alongside the Lutterworth to discharge a portion of her cargo. Captain Leys reports leaving the Bluff at 4.15 p.m. on Friday, and experienced strong southerly gales with heavy showers of rain. She brings on the Storm Bird’s passengers, she being aground at Riverton. We thank Captain Leys for our Southland files.
