Drunkenness. —Peter Wright was discharged with a caution ; William Francis Brown was fined 10s, with the option of forty eight hours’ imprisonment. Larceny, —Henry Marks, eight years of age, was charged with stealing a quantity oi lead, the property of E. Whittington, As the prosecutor failed to put in an appearance on the case being called, the accused Was discharged. Ann Hardy, for stealing » bed-cover, of the value of 14s 6d, from Mr Fox’s drapery establishment, in Princes street, was sentenced to three months’ imprisonment, with hard labor. Arusive Lanouade. — Daniels v. Daniels was a charge of this nature. Plaintiff stated that defendant had expressed the gieatest contrition (or her conduct, and
asked that the case might be withdrawn. It was withdrawn accordingly. Bye law Cases —Henry Yeend and Michael Gorman, charged with driving their coaches and {aorses round the corner of High and Manse streets at other than a walking pace, were dismissed j as were charges against Donald M. Spedding and George Perriman, of obstructing, the footpath in Princes street south, by leaving goods thereon.
