The following particulars about the Sandhurst bells of .St. Paul’s, which were rung for the first time on Good Friday, are given by the Bendigo Advertiser. The peal is thr same size as the Prince Alfred peal at Ballarat, and the hells—eight in number—were manufactured by Messrs Mears and Haitihank, of 1 ondon. The bells were ordered in October, 1871, and have been erected at a cost approximately of L 1,250. The bells are for public and private rejoicings, and to be equally avaiahle to all denominations, as per resolution of the committee to that effect, passed unanimously on the 19th October, 1871.
