A QUERY.

To the Editor,

f*iß, —Can you inform me if the Corporation of the City have let any grazing rights in South Ward ? If so, I conclude I have no cause of action against the lactiferous animal which nightly invades my premises, breaking down gates, altering the formation of flowerbeds, and otherwise playing up “oldgooseberry” with the bushes; and sometimes finishing up by chewing the cud of sweet reflection in my verandah. If the right is to be had, I might as well participate in the benefits to be derived therefrom. Your reply will greatly oblige Benson. Dunedin, April 28.
