DUNEDIN SMALL-BORE CLUB.
On Saturday, the 12 inst, fourteen members of the Otago Small-bore Rifle Club met to compote in their first match at their own ran.re, Anderson’s Bay ; and taking into consideration that most of the members have only had ouc practice on the range before, and as yet have not got accustomed to the different lights ansi shades thrown across the target by a strong north-east wind, the scoring was pretty fair. The conditions of the match were ranges 700 and 800 yards, 7 shots at each ; Wimbledon targets and scoring. Mr Wales, the vice-president, as will be seen by the subjoined scores, is at the top, with 51 points out of a possible 56. We also give the names of the rifles the different members competed with.
