Drunkenness. —Christian T unassenni was fined ss, with the option of 24 hours’ imprisonment j Robert Paterson 20s, or three days. Assault. —Robert Paterson was further charged wRh assaulting Sergeant Colder while in the execution of his duty on the previous evening. The prosecutor said, on remonstrating with the prisoner, who was making a row in Leorge street, be struck at witness and kicked him on the legs, bruising them to severely that he could hardly walk. He also considered his clothes to be 25 per cent, worse than they were on the previous evening. He was fined LlO, with the option of one month’s imprisonment. Theft. - - John Meehan, charged with stealing a sheepdog, the property of Mr F. C. Boycs, of Franktou, was fined LlO, in default one month’s imprisonment with hard labor.
