The Jessie, schooner, sailed out this afternoon for the Molyncux for a cargo of coal. Messrs M'Meckan and Blackwoods steamer Alhambra arrived in Port Chalmers at 7 a.m. this morning. She left Hobson’s Bay on the Ist March, at 3.30 p.m., and arrived at the Bluff on the (>th, at midnight, after an exceed-in'-ly rough passage, Avith strong gales of wind from the S.W. and a terrific sea, causing the death of many valuable horses. The Alhambra left the Bluff on the 7th, at 4.30 p.m., and experienced very thick weather up the coast, aa e thank Mr Jago her purser, for our Melbourne and Southland files.
