WORK FOR THE CORPORATION.

To the Editor .

Sir, —May I take a small space in your paper to draw the attention of the City authorities to the disgraceful state of the footpath, fora Almao’s corner as far as the City Portrait Rooms. The flags:oues are so uneven, it is haidly safe to walk on them at night. Any gouty person walking along would have no great opinion of our usually wellkept pavements. Perhaps I am iu error by calling the attention of the City authorities to this question ; but I am not aware the tradespeople have to attend to the lootpath in front of their respective premises. Trusting the above will be attended to.— I am, &c., Traveller. Dunedin, February 13.
