The amount of revenue received at the Cus-tom-house on goods cleared for consumption this day, was Ll4O IDs lOd.

The transactions in grain and breadstuff's have been very light this week In wheat a few sales have been made at os 6d to cs yd, the price being rather easier. The millers have about as much bought as will nut them well seasiu ,°»ecuau-c(aS3 wheat is not wantetl; fowl wheat has a good demand in trade qualities, at 4s 3d to 4s tid. For oats, the value is unaltered ; feeding, 2s; and milling, 2s to 2s 2d. There is no barley in the market. Potatoes, new, LlO. Flour continues in good trade sale, at Ll4 to Ll4 10s; inferior quiet, LlO to Lll, Oatmeal dull, LI 1 10s. Bran scarce, L 4. Pollard, L 5 10s. -Pearl barley, L 24. Hay, L 4; and new. L 3 10s. Chaff, L 3 15s. Straw, L2. A. Mercer reports for the week ending January 18, retail prices only .-—fresh butter, in hj lb and 1 lb prints, best quality 8d to 9d per lh; second quality 7d ; butter, in lumps, 6d to 7d per lb; powdered and salt butter, 7d to 8d per lb. The market still continues overstocked with fresh butter, although the supply is not so plentiful as it was. lor salt butter in kegs there is no demand, and several of the storekeepers in town hold large stocks, as well as a good deal of the dairy farmers, The supply of cheese is plentiful; prices for good quality, 8d to 9d per lb ; second quality, 7d to Bd. English hams, Is 4d to Is 6d; Colonial hams, selling well, at lid to Is Id per !b. Side and rolled bacon, 9d to lOd per lb, Eggs are very scarce at this season, and selling at Is 6d per dozen.
