Barques: Duke of Edinburgh, Ben Nevis, Southern Cross, Foldm. At the Railway Pier: ship, Fj. P. Bouverie; bng, Thomas and Henry, it was reported on Friday night that the Margaret Galbraith was somewhere in the vicinity of the Heads, her name having been hiade out from the Ocean Beach. The Geelong was some four miles outside this morning, towing the Georgina out, and saw nothing outside, go, in all probability, it is a false report. . The coaster Lloyd’s Herald sailed out this morning, bound to Gatlin’s River. The brigantine Bertha is all ready for sea, and is only waiting for a fair wind to get out. The barque Georgina was towed to sea on Friday morning by the Geelong. She is bound to Melbourne, with part original cargo from China. The Foldin, a pretty little barqnentme, arrived off Otago Heads on Friday evening, bhe Reports leaving Foo Chow 100 on November 3, and parted with the pilot on the sth j experienced fresh N.E. winds and monsoons till the l(Jth then light and variable winds ; parsed 'through Baly Straits on December ;; on December 5, in lat. 12.24 and long. 10.32, spoke the British barque Don, from Mauritius to Sydney, all well. The Leuwin was passed on the 3rd January, and had light and favorable winds to arrival. She was towed up this moi ning by the tug Geelong, and anchored off the Port Chalmers Jetty, The holdin brings pait cargo for here, the remainder for Lyttelton and Wellington; in all 332 tons of tea.
