The North Dunedin Rifie Rangers competed for the third time at the Fclichet Ray Rutts this morning, for company’s representatives. Ranges, 200 and 800 yards ; thirdclass targets; ten shots at each range ; standing at ’2OO, and any position at 300 yards. Subjoined are the eleven highest KfCW'OM *

The Portobello Titles fired off for company representatives at their new range on Saturday and Monday forenoons. The new range is superior to the old, except in one thing, ami that is, when the shot misses the target they can’t sec where it goes, the weather at the lirst competition was not favorable for good shooting, a strong breeze blowing from the left, with a mist in front and a glaring sun in rear. At the second competition, the day was everything that could be desired, and so ire good scores were made. Con-ditions-live shots at each range; ranges, 200, 300, 400, 500, and 600 yards ; Hythe position at 200 yards ; any position at the other ranges ; class targets throughout.
