John Murphy and Peter Young were each fined ss, with the usual option ; James M‘Kinlay was fined 2Us, or, in default, to serve 3 days in gaol. Mary Crawford was lined in the amount of her bail, 40s. THEFT. Thomas Randall, all an Cumberland Tony, for stealing a straw hat from the shop door of Thomas M'Gill, Plcet street, was sentenced to a month’s imprisonment. OBSCENE LANGUAGE. Patrick Redmond, for this offence, was fined 40s, with the alternative of 3 days’ imprisonment. ILLEGALLY ON PREMISES, William Manson, for being unlawfully on the premises of Mr Coventry, George street, was fined 4(J.s, or to be imprisoned for 3 days. EVE-LAM’ CASES. Patrick Lee, for throrviug rotten potatoes on the sea beach, and thereby causing a nuisance, was'Hued Is ami costs. The decision in the case of folice v, lynox was further deferred until Friday next.
