THE VOLUNTEERS.
The quarterly competion for the Scottish Company’s challenge belt and money prizes took place at the Anderson’s Bay range this morning. The money prizes were divided into two sets. The conditions of the competition were—ranges 400, 500, and G 0 ; five shots at each ; position, any. Sergeant Wilson being the highest scorer holds the belt till the next competition. The following were the prize-takers in each set:—
