Yesterday. sth.— Consolation Match, open to members of the Association who have competed in the other matches, and not taken a prize—300, 400, and 500 yards ; live shots at each range ; position, any ; second-class targets. Ist prize, L 3; 2nd, L2; 3rd, 4th and sth, LI. The above, the last match of the series, was fired yesterday, when -although a puffy wind from the left was rather against good scores—some splendid shooting was made. The contest, as will be seen by the scores, was keen throughout; and following close on the totals of the five prize-takers, which we have published, were two competitors who scored 50 each, two 49, five 48, Ac. 300 400 500
