MAYOR’S COURT.
Tins Day. (Before his Worship the Mayor.) DRUNKENNESS. Alexander Morrison and William Livingston were each fined ss, or 24 hours’ imprisonment. BYE-LAW CASES. F.llen Murdoch, for allowing the chimney of her house to take tire, was fined Is and costs ; Frederick Oaten, for plying for hire off the proper cab stand, Is and costs; Thomas Kitchingham, for obstructing the road in Clyde street, by having a horse thereon, 5s and costs; James Turner, driving without sufficient reins, 10s and costs; Wm. Marshall, allowing two horses to be at large on the Town Belt, lOs and costs; Wm. Allen, removing offensive matter without the restricted hours, 40s and costs; R. Gooddisel, charged by Alexander Steele with detaining one horse his property, was ordered to return the horse to plaintiff within 24 hours, or in default to pay the sum of L9—to pay costs of Court in either case.
