THE VOLUNTEERS.
The seventh competition for the North Dunedin Rifle Company’s prize belt was completed oh Tuesday last at Pelichet Bay Range, and was gained by Volunteer A. Allan, who was winner last time it was fired for; consequently it does not change hands on the present occasion. The highest aggregate scorer in two competitions is the holder for six months, the first of which was fired a month ago; the ranges being 400, 500, and 600 yards; five snots at each ; and the other competition as above stated—five shots ; ranges 500, 600, and 700 yards ; second-class targets. We give the scores of tiie highest five, who are also prizetakers ;
