MAYOR’S COURT.
This Day. (Before his Worship the Mayor and Jas. Brown, Ksrj., J.P.) DRUNK AND DISORDERLY. Harry Duncan, for this offence, was BYE-LAW CASES. Hugh Coyle, driving a waggon through Princes fctreet at night without carrying lights, was ordered to pay 20s and costs. — The hearing of the cases ngoiiut Joseph Halliner au,d Hugh Sutherland, for neglecting to clean their respective premises, was adjourned for a week, ILLEGAL DETENTION. John M'Allister was complained against by W. H. Boxwell, for illegally detaining certain goods. Order for complainant, with costs. MAINTENANCE. John Kaye applied to have a certain order made in the Mayor’s Court some time since, which directed him to contribute 7e 6d a
week to the support of his sou, an inmate of the Industrial School, reduced. Kaye pleaded inability through want of constant employment. Order reduced to 6s.
Harriet Flcury was, on the application of Mr Britton, the master of the Industrial School, ordered to pay 2s 6d a week for her child as inmate of the Industrial School.
