Tins Day. (Before His Worship the Mayor and James Brown, Esq., J. P.) DRUNKENNESS. Peter Herbert, 15mma Watson, alias Elizabeth Atkinson, alias Emma Hoir, and Path. Morrissey were each fined ss. MAINTENANCE. John Kaye, remanded from yesterday on a charge of neglecting to contribute towards the support of his child, at present an inmate of the Industrial School, was ordered to pay L2 12s (3d for that purpose. , ASSAULT, Livina Tundcrbolt v. Jane Eliza Phillips. —Mr Harris for complainant; Mr (Jatomore for defendant. Defendant was fined P'ts and costs, including professional costs. Patrick Long v. John Mandcrsou. —Mr Harris for complainant; Mr E. Cook for defendant. Defendant was fined 5s and costs. A second charge of using threatening language was withdrawn. The Bench recommended the defendant, who was one of the youths convicted recently of larrikinism at Green Island, to be more cautious in future.
