MAYOR'S COURT.
This Day. (Before bis Worship the Mayor and W. DRUNKENNESS, Gardiner Curtis was fined 5s or 24 hours’ for the above offence. USING THREATENING LANGUAGE. Anne Crow was charged with using abusive lauguarge in Walker street, towards John Hamilton. —Case dismissed on the pro raise of defendant not to repeat the offence ALLEGED FORGERY. Hyman Cohen, of Dunedin, was charged by Michael Levy with feloniously uttering aoi order for the payment of L4O on the sth of April last, with intent to defraud the said Michael Levy. Mr Harris suggested an adjournment in this case, in consequence of Mr Stout, defendant’s counsel, not being able to attend. Case adjourned till Saturday.
