PROVINCIAL SCHOLARSHIPS.

The result of the competition for the three scholarships was made known in the University Hall to-day, in the presence of a good many persons, including the parents and friends of many of the competitors. There were three scholarships open for competition—two to boys attending the district schools of the Province, and one to the junior pupils of the High School. The holder of a scholarship, besides the money value, is entitled to a free education at the High School for five years.
