This Day. (Before his Worship the Mayor and W. H. Reynolds, Esq., J.P.) DRUNKENNESS. George Fraser and William Thompson were each lined ss. and Elizabeth Farra 40s or 14 days-’ imprisonment for this offence. if AX N’TpNANpE. Ojj the remanded cases, Britten v. Anna Jefiivys, being called on, Inspector Thompson said that from the enquiries the police had made he did not believe the woman was in a position to contribute towards the support of her child. The case was accordingly dismissed. OFFENCES AGAINST THE BYE-LAWS. James Dounelby was fine 1 5s and costs for plying for hire off the cab stand.
ASSAULT. Tne case of Michael Davis v. W. Isaacs was adjounred till Tuesday
