RESIDENT MAGISTRATE’S COURT.

This Day. (Before A, G, Strode, Esq., R.M.) Civil Oases. Lumb v. White,—Mr Bathgate for comSlaiuant, and Mr Stout for defendant. The efvndant was charged with a breach of the 47th section of the Licensing Ordinance, 1865. The complainant stated that, on the 27th November, ho met a woman coming from defendant’s store with some groceries and a jug of beer. Mary Spratt said she got some beer from the defendant at his store for her husband’s supper, which beer was given to her. Sljc had not paid for it, nor was she held liable for the price of it. Case dismissed.
