The weather was wet, and the wind blowing up the range was good for shooting. The scores at the first stage were Captain Steward, 28 ; Private Ross, 27; Private King, 28 ; Private Rule, 30. At the second stage Rule only succeeded in making 29. The others were disqualified, having failed to make the requisite number of points in the first stage.
