Wallace arrived last evening from Oamaru. The ship Agnes Muir, 851 tons, commanded by Capt. Ander on, arrived at the Heads yesterday afternoon, and was in the evening towed to a discharging birth by the p.s. Geelong. This fine i.on clipper ship has brought a general cargo of merchandise from Glasgow, with 103 passengers, the whole of whom having arrived in good health, were this forenoon conveyed to Dunedin by the p.s. Golden Age. The s, s. Maori was, last evening, taken out of the Otago Graving Dock. The barque Glencoe, Capt. Hopkins, from Hobart on, with a cargo of timber and fruit, consigned to Messrs Gibbs and Clayton, sailed in last evening, and anchored at the Port, but being of light draft, will discharge her cargo at Dunedin. The s. s. Wanganui, sailed last evening for Northern Ports, with passengers and cargo. The s.s. Storm Bird left the Bluff Harbor yesterday afternoon at 4 o’clock., and met with fresh N.E. winds and a heavy S.E. swell until she arrived off Cape Saunders, when fresh S.W. winds were experienced. The Storm Bird has brought 168 bales of wool for transhipment to the E. P. Bouverie. We are indebted to the steward, Mr J. W. Bosher for files. The s.s. Alhambra, from Melbourne, vix the Bluff, arrived this forenoon. Her passengers, mails, &c., were conveyed to Dunedin by the p.s. Peninsula at noon to-day.
