The Kaseby meeting on the 10th and Ifth Inst., was not so well attended as on formor occasions, the cause suggested by the Chronicle being the scarcity of cash in the district, owing in great measure to the late long continued drought. Nevertheless the meet was, so far as the character of the horses and the racing itself were concerned, the most successful effort of the local Jockey Club.
