WASTE LAND BOARD.

Tms Day, The Board met at noon to-day. Present — the Chief Commissioner of Waste Lands, Messrs Duncan and Hughes. It was resolved that the rents in arrear be put in the hands of the Provincial Solicitor for collection Mr Grant’s application, to purchase on behalf of A. Dods, was declined. Mr Gillies and Street’s application for G. and M. Playfair, for 52 acres of land in the Wynahan district, on condition of resigning their claim to the remainder of the block to enable Mr Sinclair to obtain what he applied for, was agreed to. Mr Sinclair to be allowed to purchase section 5, block 3, Wyndham. Hugh Fraser’s application, to have 150 acres of Bush Reserve, Hawkesbury, put up for sale, was ref rred to the Ranger for report. A plan of Wetherston’s coal lease, a valuation of improvements on section 3, block 8, Roxburgh, and a valuation of JKttrick township, were approved.
