MAYOR’S COURT.

Tms Day. (Before his Worship the Mayor.) DRUNKENNESS. Catherine Brown was fined 40s or 14 days for the above offence. OFFENCES AGAINST THE BYE-LAWS. Andrew Simpson was fined 40s for unlawfully keeping a dog above the age of six months without registering the same. John Hay was fined 2s Gd for allowing a cow to wander in George street. Benjamin Shaw was charged with having a horse tethered in Maclaggan street, and no person in charge thereof : dismissed with a caution. B. Stohr was charged with neglecting to clean his premises in Maclaggan street, and causing a nuisance : the case was adjourned for 14 days. William Colboun was charged with driving his horse and cab round the corner of George and Frederick streets other than a walking pace. . Fined 10s and costs, it being the second time he was brought up for .the same offence.
