RESIDENT MAGISTRATE’S COURT.
This Day. (Before A. C. Strode, Esq., K.M.) Civil Casks. Miller and Hall v. Fawkner. —Mr Stout applied for a rehearing in this case, on the ground of surprise. The case having been heard before Mr Fulton, his Worship stated the application must be made to him. He would consult Mr Fulton on the matter. Cutten (acting Provincial Treasurer) y, Macdonald.— Mr Saunders applied for a discharge of the order for rehearing, on the ground that the defendant had abandoned the intention to have the case heard again. His Worship fixed next Wednesday for the rehearing, before which day Mr Saunders agreed to give notice to the defendant’s solicitor. Meenan v Roberts. —LI 8s lOd, for goods supplied. Judgment by default for the plaintiff for the amount, with costs. M'Liskey v. N. B. M‘Gregor.—L2 4s. Judgment by default for the plaintiff for the amount, with costs.
