Renforth’s sudden death at St John’s N.B. caused a great sensation in England, There was some idea that he had been poisoned, because Keeley stated he said to him when first attacked in the boat “ Oh, Harry I have had something given me,” but the medical testimony clearly proved that death resulted from an apoplectic stroke
