(FROM GREVILLE’S TELEGRAM COMPANY, beutek’s AGENTS.) Wellington, Oct. 12. The estute of Messrs Turnbull and Reeves, of this city, has been assigned to Mr Turnbull, for the benefit of his creditors. Hokitika, Oct. 12. A meeting has been convened to protest against the proposed dismemberment of the County. Timauu, Oct. 12. A burglary was committed last night oh the premises of Mr White, solicitor. The place was entered by the back door. The doors of the Building Society’s office, and of Beswick’s, commission agent, were burst open, and cupboards and deed boxes wrenched open. Only a few shillings were taken.
