The Post's correspondent telegraphs that the Natives at Manawatu have stopped the survey of the block, in consequence of the non-fulfilment of Mr M‘Lean’s promises. The surveyors are awaiting instructions from Wellington. . i Port Chalmers, October 4. A lai'ge ship arrived at the Heads to-day, but the thick rain prevented her signals being made out. She is supposed to be the James Nicol Fleming, from Glasgow. The steam-tug Geelong has gone to the Heads to tow the ship in.
