ROSLYN ELECTION.

The polling for a member to represent Roslyn district in the General Assembly took place yesterday, and resulted in the election of Mr Edward M'Glashan. The following statement of the voting was made, pending the official declaration of the poll;

Majority for M'Glashan, 93 Mr M'Glashan then thanked the electors For having elected him, and Messrs Cutten and Cargill those who bad voted and worked for them; after which the proceedings terminated.
