On the passage from Lyttelton experienced light- wrfids and calms, signalled Oamaru on passing, but did not stop, arrived al Port Chalmers as above. Mr T. B. Gillies, the Superintendent of Auckland, is a passi nger from Auckland. Five Maori pr soners, under sentence for high treason, in charge of an escort, have been brought down by the Wellington from Wellington. The s,s. Ahnriri from the Bluff arrived early this morning, transhipped part of her cargo on board the ship Wild Deer, and proceeded to Dunedin this forenoon. The s.s. Phcehe sailed for the Blull last evening. „ . , The Harbour Company s p.s. Peninsula has been for the last few days on Tsbister’s patent slip, unde going the usual periodical overhaul, but resumed running to-day.
