This Day, (Before A. 0, Strode, Esq., E.M.) Civil Cases. Pritchard v. Stevenson. —L 7 18s 6d. for blacksmith’s work done for the defendant. Judgment by default for the plaintiff for the amount, with costs. Gray v. Leslie.—Lo Gs, a claim for goods supplied. Judgment for the plaintiff by default, with costs. Same v. Higgs.—L.T 13s Id, for goods Judgment by default for the plaintiff for the amount claimed. Griffin v. Grennan, Crust, and Co. —LI7 14s Bd, for oats and chaff supplied. Judgment by default for the plaintiff for the amount claimed, with costs. Sauntev. Peyton.—L2 Gs 6d. The defendant -was called to show cause why he did not pay a judgment debt. For the defence it was stated that L.T 4s Gd had been paid ; but the evidence failed to establish it. Ordered to be paid within a week, or defendant to be imprisoned 14 days
