The Council passed resolutions in favor of the separation of the offices of Manager of Railways and Provincial Treasurer—the Provincial Treasurer and Provincial Solicitor to be members of the .Executive and Provincial Council. A sum of L2OOO was voted for the erection of a School of Arts . and Sciences.
