This Day. (Before his Worship the Mayor.). • DRUNKENNESS. Bridget Griffen, Michael Cain, John Dodds, William White, Henry Adair, and George Driscole, were each fined os. Duncan M‘Arthur was fined 10s ; and John Dodds, who, in a fit of drunkenness, turned his wife and family out of doors in a nude state on a cold night, after mercilessly beating them, was fined 40s, with the alternative of fourteen days’ imprisonment. ..OBSCENE LANGUAGE. Thos. "White, an old offender, was fined LlO, with the alternative of three months’ imprisonment. OFFENCES AGAINST THE BVE-LAWS. Henry Harbor, for allowing a cow to waa-
der, was fined 10s and costs ; and Norman Wood { “- 20s and costs, for placing building material upon High Street.
