RESIDENT MAGISTRATE’S COURT.
. This Day; (Before A. C. Strode, Esq., E.VT., his Worship the Mayor, and John Griffen, Esq., J.E.) f’R.AKSEEBS, Thomas Collins .applied to transfer his license to Thomas Francis Davis. Mr Harris explained that in consequence of the insolvency of Davis, he had no longer the wish to have; the’ license transferred, and in'lieu of him the should be made 'temporarily to Guy Bennett The application wag agreed to. John Taylor's transfer to Robert Sanderson was granted, OBKEP-fb UCHXfjE.Thomas M'Gratli applied, through Mr Harris, for a license for a house at. the corner of St. Andrew street. A petition from thirty-eight' householders' in tub neighborhood in favor of. the license being granted was presented, also a counter-petition signed by forty-two names, Tho Bench considered that in consequence of the strong remonstrance the application must be refused.
