Charleston, May 29. Thomas M'Grath, miner, on the road four miles from Charleston, met with a serious accident on Saturday. A truck tipped up, and threw him off a tramway 16 feet. He fell on a stump on his stomach, and was severely injured. He died at Charleston Hospital this morning at one o’clock, An iuqiu st was held to-day.
Invercargill, May 20. The Storm Bird arrived yesterday, and sails for Dunedin to-night. The weather is settled.
