Evening Slccr Office, Friday eventn*. The mount of revenue received at the Cns-tom-honse on goods cleared for consumption to-day, was £609 16s 6d. Duty on gold.—£27o. Messrs M'Landress, Hepbnrn, and Co. offered for sale to-day 3500 mats sugar, balance shipment ex Havilah. A small portion, only some GOO mats, were disposed of, the rest haring been withdrawn. Importers not feeling inclined to sell at prices offered, all ye lows and low browns were passed, the trade evidently holding back ; No. 2, finest whites, L 39 7s 6d, all sold ; No. 3, second White, part sold at L3B.
