'the schooner Jane Hannah, that sailed a lew days ago for Gatlins River, put back to Anchorage to the Heads this morning. Thb brigantine Jane Anderson, for Auck land, via Oamaru, with cargo, was removed from Dunedin and anchored at the Port this forenoon, The s.s. Lord Ashley, from Lyttleton via Akaroa, arrived at the Port this afternoon. The s.s. Phoebe was hauled in'o the entrance of the now Graving Dock last evening, and remained there until this morning, when she was taken inside and placed upon the blocks; the work of scrubbing, scraping, and painting being carried on as the Water was pumped out of the dock. The s.s. Phoebe being the first vessel in the Graving Dock, bunting was hoisted at the Port in nonor of the event.
