This Day, (Before A. C. Strode, Esq., R. V.) Civil Cases. Duncan v. Par-tons.—A claim for L 24 Judgment by default for the plaint If with costs. Wilson .and Birch v. Middle 1 on.—L33 7s 9d. Judgment for the plaintiff, L 33 (5s Cd with cost . Trustees of Scott and Jocelyn v. Porter. — L4l 12s 2d. Judgment for the plaintiffs for the amount CHARGE OF ASSAULT. Craig v. Lothian. —A claim for LIOO, as compensation fur an all-ged assault. Mr Barton for the plaintiff; Mr Harris for the defendant. The case occupied the time of the Court for some hours, and the evidence for the defence had only begun when our reporter was compelled to leave the Court.
