A MUSICAL entertainment, to commemorate the second anniversary of the Mornington. Band of Hope, will take place in the schoolhouse, this evening, commencing at 7.30.
We would impress upon our readers the claims of Miss Edh msc for public support, which, apart from the excellent programme put forward, should ensure her a bump r house this evening. A meeting of the Standard Property Investment Society for receiving subscriptions, &0., will lie hold at the Society’s office on Wednesday evening next, between six and eight o’clock. We have received the February number of the Illustrated Nem Zealand Herald, which contains several tine engravings, including one of the rope bridge across the Kawaru, and a 1 irge quantity of reading matter.
