(from greville’s telegram company, recter’s agents.) Wanganui, January 30. Mr John Bryce has been returned for the General Assembly without opposition. He is a Ministerial supporter* Cromwell, January 30. Mr Fraser held a successful meeting on Saturday, as a candidate for the representation of the district in the General Assembly. Messrs Shepherd, and Hughes hold meetings to-night. For the Superintendency, Mr Macandrew will poll good majorities at Queenstown, Cromwell, Alexandra, and Clyde.
