Tins Day. (Before A. C. Strode, Esq., R.M.) CHARGE OE LIBEL. Regina, on the information of Spence Brent v. George Bernard Barton. —Mr Haggitt for the prosecution. Mr Macassey for the defence. <’n the application of Mr Macassey, the hearing of this case was postponed to Thursday next. CHARGE OF USING OBSCENE LANGUAGE. A charge against a person named Smcretou (as we understood) was dismissed ; s the prosecutrix did not appear.
