MR VOGEL’S MEETING.
To the. Editor of the Erenhi;/ Star. Sin—l believe it is customary for the chairman of a public meeting to state (in ease of disturbance) that he wuld vacate the chair unless supported by keeping order. As there are rumors afloat that the Chairman was nrlt impartial, I wish to ask why his Worship the Mayor did not carry out the usual practise ? 1 am, &e., Audi. December 9.
