At the coroner’s inquest as to the origin of the Lyttelton fire the jury returned the following verdict: —“ That the fire occurred in a store room attached to the Queen’s Hotel; but how, there is no evidence to show.” Wheat, 4s to 4s 3d; oats, 2s (3d ; barley, unchanged; butter, good supply at 7|d to 7|d; cheese, 6]d to 61d ; hams and bacon range from 7d to 7j ! cl, assorted parcels. November 15. The Phccbc leaves about G o’clock this evening with the English mail.
