Laccnfccd - - - 1 Peeress - - - 2 Twelve horses van for tho Handicap. The racing was poor, except for the Hurdle race. November 11. CHRISTCHURCH PLATE. Kuottingly - - 1 Peeress - - - 2 RAILWAY PLATE. Miss Flat 1 Lyndon - - - 2 METROPOLITAN HANDICAP. Misfortune . - - 1 Southern Chief - - 2 Backbiter 3 Oamaru, November 11. The Northern Agricultural and Pastoral Association’s Show to-day was a great success. The weather was splendid, and a large number of people attended. There was a magnificent show of cattle and draught stock. The show of sheep was excellent. For entries, the Hon. Mr Holmes took the first prize, with the horse Duke of Bucclcuch ; Mr Andrews, of the Tancri, took the second prize, with Southern Chief. In cattle, Mr Holmes was the principal prize taker. In sheep, Mr Holmes took the first prize for tho best ram in the yard. The other prizes for sheep were divided between Messrs Holmes, Borton and M'Mastcr, and Campbell and Low.
