Loudon, Sept. 12. During the past two or three weeks the wool market has undergone no substantial change. Prices are low, and holders are indisposed to meet the market. The opinion is that, under the most favorable circumstances, the large accumulation of wool for the November sales and the depression of trade caused by the war, must together operate to prevent any improvement in quotations, while the prolongation of hostilities would only result in further depression. South Australian wool may be quoted at Is to Is 3d ; Sydney and Port Phillip. Cd to 2s ; Tasmanian, od to Is 1A ; New Zealand, od to Is 9d. Arrivals for October and November sales it is known will be unusually large. Tallow is in good demand, at 3d advance for higher and better qualities IMPORTANT UNPUBLISHED TELEGRAMS. Paris, Sept. 12. The Italian Minister, who has arrived here, brings intelligence that the Italian Government has determined to put down all revolutionary proceedings in Italy and Rome, wljich have been threatened. Italian troops proceed to occupy Rome. This step several leading cardinals admit to have become a necessity. Russia has intimated to Prussia that she will not interfere in reference to Rome. Prussia will not interfere. The proposal to annex the Papal States to Italy is to be submitted to the popular vote. London, Sept. 12. King William has replied to the Austrian Legation that he will listen to no terms of peace except through the Imperial authorities of France. This seems to end all foreign negociation. After to-day it is likely that communication witli Paris will cease. Paris, Sept. 12. As the Prussians approach the enthusiasm is intense, and there are no hopes of peace. The population are determined to fight to the death. Russia is still arming, and it is believed that a treaty has been entered into with Austria to divide Turkey. The Russian fleet in the Black Sea is larger than that agreed to in the treaty after the Crimean war.
